A Kuwaiti military official has denounced the Iranian missile and drone attacks on his country that wounded an unspecified number of people and shut down the international airport.

Brigadier-General Saud Abdulaziz al-Otaibi, a Defence Ministry spokesman, described the attacks as “criminal Iranian aggression which resulted in significant material damage to the building and injuries”.

It’s unclear how many people were wounded in the airport attack or how serious their conditions are, reports Aljazeera.
