Jhenaidah SP withdrawn 

Authorities have withdrawn the Superintendent of Police (SP) of Jhenaidah, Md Mahafuj Afzal.

According to an order issued on Thursday by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Md Ali Hossain Fakir, Afzal has been instructed to hand over his responsibilities to a senior district police officer and report to Police Headquarters on Friday. 

The order did not mention any reason for his withdrawal.

Earlier, Police Headquarters had also withdrawn SPs of three other districts. They are Feni SP Mohammad Mahbub Alam Khan, Panchagarh SP Md Mizanur Rahman, and Moulvibazar SP Md Riazul Islam.
