Today is the 28th death anniversary of journalist and freedom fighter Mahmudul Haque Chowdhury. He passed away in 1998. His last place of employment was as an assistant editor of Bangladesh Observer.

On this occasion, a Quran khwani and milad mahfil have been organized at his home in Matiagoda village in Chhagalnaiya upazila of Feni after Asr prayers.

His family has requested all journalists and freedom fighters, including relatives, to be present.
