AB Bank holds 44th AGM

AB Bank PLCheld its 44th Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Kurmitola Golf Club, Dhaka on Thursday, says a press release. 

The meeting was presided over by Md. Fazlur Rahman, FCA, the newly appointed Chairman of the Bank. Feroz Ahmed, Vice Chairman, Shafiqul Alam, Independent Director, Md Eskandar Miah, Independent Director, DR Nasima A Rahman, Independent Director, Reazul Islam, Managing Director and CEO (Acting), and Manzurul Ahsan, FCS, Company Secretary along with a large number of shareholders and well-wishers attended the meeting.

Speaking at the AGM, the Chairman expressed his sincere gratitude to the shareholders for their patience, confidence, and continued support during a difficult period for the Bank. He also thanked the regulators, customers, employees, and all stakeholders whose cooperation and commitment have been instrumental in supporting the Bank’s recovery efforts.

The AGM approved the audited financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2025 and transacted other statutory business as placed before the shareholders.
