3 more die of measles

 
Three more people died with measles symptoms across the country in the past 24 hours, while 902 new cases were reported during the same period.

The information was disclosed in the Directorate General of Health Services' (DGHS) regular measles situation report released on Wednesday.

According to the report, a total of 652 children have died with measles symptoms since March 15, while 93 children have died from laboratory-confirmed measles, bringing the overall death toll to 745. 

The DGHS said 106 new confirmed measles cases were identified over the past 24 hours. Since March 15, the total number of laboratory-confirmed measles infections in the country has reached 13,070.
