To expand financial inclusion by delivering modern, secure and Shariah-compliant banking services to the doorsteps of underserved communities, Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC (AIB) organised an Agent Banking Views Exchange Meeting and Courtyard Meeting with the participation of owners of 82 agent outlets, managers of 10 link branches, outlet managers and selected customers from the Barishal region.
The programme, held recently was attended by Deputy Managing Director and Head of the Bank's Agent Banking and Digital Banking Wing Md Aminul Islam Bhuiyan as the chief guest. Vice President and Manager of Mathbaria Branch Md Enayet Fakir and Senior Assistant Vice President of the Agent Banking Division Md Ishtiaq Hasan attended as special guests. The meeting was presided over by the Manager of Barishal Branch Muhammad Abdus Shukur, says a press release.
During the day-long programme, agent outlet owners, branch managers, outlet managers and selected customers shared their experiences and discussed various operational challenges, possible solutions, strategies for deposit growth, and ways to ensure modern, secure and cashless banking services through the Bank's digital channels, including Digital Danbox, Bangla QR, Islamic Wallet, Internet Banking, IlmNet �" Education Management System and the Digital Payment Collection Module.
