Four more children died with measles symptoms across Bangladesh in the past 24 hours, while 1,160 children were reported to have either confirmed measles or measles-like symptoms during the same period.
The information was disclosed in the Directorate General of Health Services’ (DGHS) latest measles situation report released on Sunday afternoon.
According to the report, all four deaths recorded in the past 24 hours were among children with measles symptoms. No child died from laboratory-confirmed measles during the reporting period.
Since March 15, a total of 725 children have died with measles symptoms nationwide, while 95 children have died from confirmed measles infections.
