'Bangladesh's people will no longer be misled by any provocation'

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has said that the people of Bangladesh will no longer be misled by any provocation from those seeking to create confusion.

''The people of the country will now move forward, change their own fortunes and at the same time, transform the fortunes of their country.''

He made the remarks as the chief guest at a programme in Chattogram's Banshkhali on Sunday afternoon.

The programme was held at West Banshkhali High School and College field.

The Prime Minister said, ''It is time to build the country after independence. Many countries around the world gained independence after Bangladesh, but they moved far ahead through hard work and dedication. We can no longer afford to lag behind.''
