Fire at Bangshal helmet warehouse, 7 units working to douse flames

A fire broke out at a helmet warehouse in the Mukim Bazar area of Bangshal in Old Dhaka on Sunday evening.
Being informed at 6:02 PM, seven firefighting units rushed to the spot and are working to bring the blaze under control, said Rosina Akter, duty officer at the Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters.
The reason behind the fire and the extent of casualties could not be ascertained immediately.
Efforts to extinguish the flames were underway till the filing of this report.
