Rain forecast across country next week

Rain is likely to continue across the country over the coming week, with the day and night temperatures expected to rise slightly, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).

The forecast was issued on Thursday for the 24 hours from 9AM:00am.

According to the forecast, many areas of Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions may experience light to moderate rain or thundershowers, accompanied by temporary gusty winds. Some areas of Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions may also receive rain.

Moderate to heavy rainfall is likely at places in Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions, the BMD said.

Day and night temperatures across the country may rise slightly during the next 24 hours.

Rain is also likely in different parts of the country over the following four days, while temperatures may fluctuate during the period, according to the meteorological department.
