Puja Chery: I am not married yet

Film actress Puja Chery has dismissed recent rumours and misleading reports concerning her marriage and personal life, urging media outlets to verify information before publishing it.In a recent social media post, Puja addressed the speculation surrounding her marital status and clarified that she is not married. She added that if she does get married, her fans and followers will be among the first to know.Several reports recently linked the actress to individuals from different professions, which she said had caused her embarrassment and distress. Puja recalled that she had previously announced her engagement and clarified that her family had been involved in arranging the marriage.
Addressing the repeated publication of unverified reports, Puja warned that she may pursue legal action against those responsible. She also stressed that her silence on personal matters should not be interpreted as an opportunity to spread misinformation about her.
The actress referred to Articles 31 and 43 of the Constitution of Bangladesh, which provide protections concerning personal rights, privacy and reputation. She also cited Section 25 of the Cyber Security Act, 2023, in relation to false and misleading information published online.
Puja expressed her gratitude to her fans and the media for their continued love and support. At the same time, she urged media professionals to verify information carefully and refrain from publishing unsubstantiated reports or spreading misleading rumours about her personal life.
