
Dhaka Bank PLC inaugurated its 39th sub-branch, the Bar Council Sub-Branch, at the Bangladesh Bar Council in Dhaka recently. The sub-branch operates under Dhaka Bank’s Local Office, says a press release.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Md Asaduzzaman, MP, Minister of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, as the chief guest.
Barrister Md Ruhul Quddus (Kazal), Attorney General for Bangladesh and Chairman of the Bangladesh Bar Council, chaired the programme.
Abdul Hai Sarker, Chairman of Dhaka Bank PLC, and Osman Ershad Faiz, Managing Director and CEO of Dhaka Bank PLC, were also present. Osman Ershad Faiz inaugurated the sub-branch.
Among others, Senior Advocate Barrister Md Bodruddoza Badal, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Bangladesh Bar Council; Senior Advocate Zainul Abedin, MP, Vice Chairman of the Bangladesh Bar Council; Abdullah Al Ahsan, Director of Dhaka Bank PLC; AKM Shahnawaj, Additional Managing Director of Dhaka Bank PLC; Deputy Managing Directors Akhlaqur Rahman, Mostaque Ahmed, Sheikh Abdul Bakir, AMM Moyen Uddin, SM Abdullah Hil Kafi, Mukarram Hossain Chowdhury and Md Waliul Islam; EVP and Manager of the Local Office; senior managers of nearby Dhaka Bank branches; and other senior officials of Dhaka Bank, as well as lawyers and officials of the Bangladesh Bar Council, were present at the inauguration ceremony.
The newly inaugurated Bar Council Sub-Branch will provide customers with a range of banking services, including utility bill payments, fund transfers between accounts and to other banks, as well as other available banking facilities.
