JAMALPUR, Aug 24: Police recovered the body of a housewife from a rented flat in Jamalpur town on Sunday morning after hearing the cries of her two children.
The deceased was identified as Israt Jahan, 34, daughter of Ismail Hossain of Pathalia Village in the Jamalpur municipality.
Police said Israt had been living in the flat on the fifth floor of a building near Panch Rasta intersection with her husband, Kawsar Ahmed Shawon, and their two children for about a month.
