Foreign affairs state minister in Jeddah to attend OIC meeting

State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humayun Kabir is currently in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to attend a meeting of foreign ministers of member states of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

The state minister will participate in an emergency meeting at the OIC headquarters in Jeddah on Thursday (August 27).

A Foreign Ministry official said Humayun Kabir will represent Bangladesh at the meeting of foreign ministers of OIC member states.

The official added that the state minister will attend the meeting at the OIC headquarters on Thursday.

This is Humayun Kabir’s first foreign visit since taking charge as the State Minister for Foreign Affairs.

He is scheduled to return to Bangladesh on Friday (August 28).
