Fire hits Jhut warehouse in Gazipur

A massive fire broke out at a garment waste (jhut) warehouse in the Konabari area of Gazipur on Thursday (August 27) morning.

Five firefighting units rushed to the spot and are currently working to bring the blaze under control, according to Gazipur Fire Service sources.

The cause of the fire could not be known immediately.

Similarly, the extent of financial damage caused by the fire has not yet been determined.

Fire Service authorities confirmed that firefighters are working to bring the situation under control.
