
Nazmul Alam, divisional head of the Financial Reporting Council, has been appointed Director General (DG) of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification in this regard on Sunday night. According to the notification, Nazmul Alam has been appointed to the ACC post while his service has been placed at the disposal of the Cabinet Division.
Meanwhile, ACC Director General Md Mokammel Haque, an additional secretary, has been transferred to the Health Services Division as an additional secretary.
The government has also made a number of changes to senior administrative positions. Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs Ziauddin Ahmed has been attached to the Ministry of Public Administration, while Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism Badrun Nahar has been transferred to the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs.
In a separate order, Barrister Mutasim Billah Farooqui, a member of the National Board of Revenue (Tax Legal and Enforcement, Current Duty), has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Bangladesh Tourism Board.
