Barishal Range DIG visits Kawkhali PS

KAWKHALI, PIROJPUR, Sept 5: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the Barishal Range Md Zulfikar Ali Haider visited Kawkhali Police Station (PS) in Pirojpur on Friday.

During the visit, DIG Md Zulfikar Ali Haider reviewed station registers and observed the daily activities of officers and personnel. He also inspected the evidence room, prison cells and government arms depot.

The DIG instructed officers to provide prompt and quality services to people seeking assistance, with particular attention to women, children, older people and people with disabilities.

He also ordered officers to increase routine patrols, expedite the execution of arrest warrants, step up anti-drug operations and strengthen community-based beat policing.

Pirojpur Superintendent of Police Mohammad Manzur Ahmed Siddiqui and other senior district police officials were present during the inspection.
