A fire broke out at a furniture warehouse in the Satarkul area of Badda in the capital on Sunday morning (September 6).
Four firefighting units responded to the scene to control the blaze.
The Fire Service and Civil Defense control room received information regarding the incident at 8:55 AM, according to Anwarul Islam Dolon, an official from the Fire Service Headquarters media cell.
Two firefighting units from the Baridhara Fire Station arrived at the location at 9:19 AM and commenced fire suppression operations. Two additional units from Purbachal subsequently joined the efforts.
Fire officials stated that the origin of the fire and the extent of property damage remain under investigation. No casualties have been reported.
