Biman Bangladesh Airlines has suspended flights to Dammam and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia due to the deteriorating security situation, citing passenger safety concerns.
Flights to Dammam will remain suspended from October 23 to 25, while Riyadh services will be halted until October 31, according to an airline statement issued on Thursday (October 22).
The decision follows an attack on King Fahd International Airport in Dammam on the night of October 21, the statement said.
However, flights from Dhaka to Jeddah and Madinah will continue as scheduled. Passengers travelling to Dammam and Riyadh may use Jeddah or Madinah airports, subject to seat availability.
Passengers have been advised to contact their nearest Biman sales centre for ticket and travel-related information.
