11 killed in Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon

At least 11 people, including two children and two medical workers, were killed in separate Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon, according to Lebanese state media.
The National News Agency (NNA) reported that Israeli fighter jets struck a residential building in Kafr Reman early Monday. Nine people, including two children, were killed in the attack, while five others sustained injuries.
Two medical workers were also killed when an Israeli drone targeted a vehicle in the same town, NNA said.
The Israeli military carried out another strike in a residential area of Deir al-Zahrani on Sunday night after ordering residents to leave the area.
The military said the target was a building located near a Hezbollah facility. According to its claim, explosive drones had been launched from the building.
The latest strikes came a day after an Israeli airstrike on Arab Salim in the neighbouring Nabatieh district left at least seven people dead and 20 others injured.
Israeli attacks have continued despite a ceasefire agreement reached between Israel and Lebanon in June under US mediation.
Lebanon’s Health Ministry said more than 4,350 people have been killed and over 12,300 injured in Israeli attacks since the conflict escalated in early March.
The ministry also said in a recent report that 179 Israeli attacks have targeted Lebanese ambulance workers since March 2. At least 135 healthcare workers have been killed in the attacks.
