10 senior police officials transferred

Bangladesh Police has transferred 10 officials holding the rank of additional superintendent of police.

The transfers were made in a notification signed by Inspector General of Police Md Ali Hossain Fakir on Tuesday.

The transferred officials are SB Dhaka Additional Superintendent of Police Md Tofail Hossain Sarker, who has been posted to Brahmanbaria; SB Additional Superintendent of Police Md Robiul Islam, to Gopalganj; and Additional Superintendent of Police of Kaliakair Circle in Gazipur Md Asaduzzaman, to Katiadi Circle in Kishoreganj.

Additional Superintendent of Police of Katiadi Circle Md Tofazzal Hossain has been transferred to Industrial Police, while SB Additional Superintendent of Police Mahin Farazi has been posted to Gournadi Circle in Barishal.

Police Headquarters Additional Superintendent of Police Tanzina Chowdhury has been transferred to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), while RAB Additional Superintendent of Police SM Arif Raiyan has been posted to Patiya Circle in Chattogram.

Additional Superintendent of Police of Gaibandha-B Circle Sheikh Muttazul Islam has been transferred to Kaliakair Circle in Gazipur, and Additional Superintendent of Police of Gournadi Circle Abu Saleh Md Ansar Uddin has been posted as additional deputy police commissioner of Barishal Metropolitan Police (BMP).

According to the notification, the transferred officials must hand over charge at their current workplaces by September 19. Otherwise, they will be considered immediately released from their posts (stand released) from September 20.
