Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has assured business leaders that the ongoing gas and electricity supply crisis will normalize by Tuesday (September 15) night.
FBCCI Administrator Md Fazlul Hoque disclosed the assurance to journalists following a high-level meeting between the Prime Minister and representatives of 20 top trade bodies at the Secretariat on Monday (September 14).
Speaking on behalf of the business community, Fazlul Hoque stated that the Prime Minister pledged an immediate end to the acute energy supply disruptions that emerged in recent days.
According to the FBCCI chief, the Prime Minister guaranteed that the supply situation for both natural gas and electricity would return to its previous stable baseline starting Tuesday night.
Business leaders welcomed the announcement, describing the Prime Minister's commitment as the most significant outcome and biggest relief from the Secretariat meeting amid rising industrial disruptions.
