Journalist Pranto Parvez's house attacked at Pallabi

The incident took place at around 2:15AM, according to the journalist.

Parvez said four men, equipped with arms, arrived on two motorcycles and searched for him at his residence. At one point, they allegedly fired two shots targeting him before fleeing the scene. A total of four rounds were reportedly fired during the attack.

He alleged that the Ashik Group has been involved in criminal activities in various areas, including Mirpur and Pallabi. He believes the attack was carried out in retaliation for a recent report aired on 71 Television concerning alleged extortion by the group.

The journalist identified a person named Ashik as the alleged mastermind of the group.
