UEFA announces hosts for 2028-2029 European finals

UEFA has officially named Munich's Allianz Arena and Barcelona's newly renovated Camp Nou as the host venues for the 2028 and 2029 Men's Champions League finals respectively.

The decisions were finalized following a bidding process during the UEFA Executive Committee meeting in Thessaloniki on Tuesday (September 15).

The 2028 final will mark the third time Bayern Munich's Allianz Arena hosts the showpiece event, having previously staged the finals in 2012 and 2025. Meanwhile, Camp Nou will host its first Champions League final since the memorable 1999 clash.

In the Women's Champions League, the 2028 final will take place at Parc Olympique Lyonnais in Lyon, while Cardiff's Principality Stadium will host the 2029 final.

These announcements follow earlier confirmations for the 2027 season, where Atletico Madrid's Metropolitano Stadium will host the men's final and Warsaw will host the women's final.

Host venues for the Europa League finals were also determined during the executive meeting. Bucharest's National Arena was selected to host the 2028 Europa League final, while the 2029 edition will be played at the National Stadium in Belgrade.
