Govt to bring cyber law people want: Law Minister

The government will make a cyber security law based on what people want, Law Minister Md Asaduzzaman said on Thursday.

Speaking at a discussion at Dhaka University on US Constitution Day, he said the new law would protect freedom of speech while also protecting people from harm to their reputation.

He said the government had already taken opinions from editors, journalists and people from different professions about the law.
