Bangladeshi-origin organiser visits Para Games camp

 
Bangladeshi-origin UK sports organiser and businessman Md Abdus Salam visited Bangladesh's national training camp for the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Para Games recently, meeting athletes and officials and learning about their preparations for the continental multi-sport event.

Salam visited the camp operated under the supervision of the National Paralympic Committee of Bangladesh (NPC Bangladesh), where he interacted with the athletes and discussed their training, facilities, support requirements and preparations for international competition.

He praised the athletes for their dedication and hard work and expressed his commitment to supporting Bangladeshi Para athletes seeking to compete on the international stage.

NPC Bangladesh officials briefed Salam on the camp's activities, training plans and overall preparations for the Games, scheduled to be held in Japan from 18 to 24 October. The event will feature 18 Para sports and bring together athletes from across Asia.
