191 NBR assistant revenue officers transferred

National Board of Revenue (NBR) has transferred 191 newly appointed assistant revenue officers, posting to different customs, excise and VAT offices. 

The NBR issued a notification on Thursday on the transfers, signed by Md Zaker Hossain, Second Secretary of the Customs and VAT Administration-3 branch. 

According to the notification, the officers have been posted to different customs, excise and VAT commissionerates, economic zone commissionerates, the Large Taxpayers Unit (VAT) and customs houses across the country.

The postings cover several areas, including Dhaka North, Dhaka South, Dhaka East and Dhaka West. Other areas include Chattogram, Khulna, Rajshahi, Rangpur, Sylhet, Barishal, Mymensingh, Cumilla, Narayanganj, Gazipur, Jashore and Cox's Bazar.

The transferred officers will be released from their current workplaces on September 22 afternoon. The order will take effect immediately.
