Deadly bomb attact hits in Pakistan

At least 11 security personnel were killed and 31 others injured in a deadly bomb attacks and hit in Pakistan’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Saturday (September 26), according to Al Jazeera.

The attacks targeted security installations in the province, including a checkpoint and a police station. In Bajaur district, an explosives-laden vehicle was rammed into a wall near a security checkpoint, killing 11 security personnel and a child, according to Pakistan’s military. 

A separate blast at a police station in Bannu also caused casualties, while several people were injured in the attacks. The incidents came amid continuing militant violence in Pakistan’s areas bordering Afghanistan. 

The attacks have added to growing security concerns in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where security forces have been conducting operations against militant groups.
