ACC summons ex-defence adviser Tarique Siddique

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has summoned Tarique Ahmed Siddique, former military adviser to ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina, for questioning over alleged misappropriation of Tk250 crore from the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) Third Terminal expansion project.
The commission has also sought banking records from 41 banks as part of its investigation into alleged diversion of Tk276 crore from the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Memorial Trust.
