Sub-registrars to be transferred by lottery on Tuesday

Sub-registrars working at sub-registry offices in Dhaka district will be transferred through a lottery on Tuesday to ensure transparency in the transfer process.
The Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs announced the move in a notification on Sunday.
The lottery will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday at the ministry’s conference room in the presence of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Md Asaduzzaman.
Sub-registrars currently working at sub-registry offices in different districts will be selected through the lottery for designated posts at sub-registry offices in Dhaka district.
The notification said the lottery-based transfer system is being introduced to ensure necessary administrative reforms and discipline in sub-registry offices and to make property registration services easier, more orderly and free from harassment for the public.
