The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) reported nine more people died from measles symptoms and dengue across the country in the 24 hours from 8am Saturday to 8am Sunday.
During the period, 1,300 people were newly diagnosed with suspected or confirmed measles, while 2,089 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country.
According to a DGHS release on Sunday, three people died after developing measles symptoms in the last 24 hours. From March 15 to October 4, a total of 1,248 people have died with measles symptoms.
