TEHRAN, Oct 8: Mohammad Eslami, the head of the Atomic Energy Organisation of Iran (AEOI), says that despite “sanctions, threats and attacks” against the country’s nuclear industry, the agency has made progress in health, agriculture and radiopharmaceuticals, Iran’s Nour News reports.
Referring to allegations that Iran wished to produce nuclear weapons, Eslami said: “In addition to these pressures, lies and accusations are also raised against the country, which they themselves know are not true, but despite these conditions, our colleagues have been able to carry out their mission competently and maintain the movement of the country on the frontier of knowledge.”"AL JAZEERA
