Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs hospitalised after head injury in prison

American rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs was taken to a hospital from a federal prison in New Jersey on Saturday after reportedly suffering a head injury, according to media reports.

The 56-year-old was conscious and speaking before being hospitalised and returned to prison later that day. The cause of the injury remains unknown.

A representative for Combs told that his team was seeking to confirm the circumstances, adding that his health and well-being were the immediate concern.

Combs is serving a 50-month sentence after being convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. His release date was reportedly pushed back to March 2028 after prison disciplinary action.
