Popular Life Insurance disburses Tk 6.43cr in claims to M'singh policyholders

Popular Life Insurance PLC has distributed insurance claim cheques worth Tk 6.43 crore among policyholders in its Mymensingh region as part of the company's ongoing initiative to expedite claim settlements.

A cheque distribution ceremony and discussion meeting was held on Thursday (October 15) at the conference hall of the company's own office in Mymensingh.

BM Yousuf Ali, managing director and chief executive officer of Popular Life Insurance PLC and president of the Bangladesh Insurance Forum, attended the event as the chief guest.

Additional Managing Director BM Shawkat Ali, Senior Deputy Managing Director Syed Motahar Hossain, Deputy Managing Directors Md Kamal Hossain Mohsin and Mohammad Khalilur Rahman Sikder, Senior Executive Director Mohammad Selim Mia, and Executive Director Md Moklesur Rahman were present as special guests.

Senior officials of the company also spoke at the event, highlighting the importance of timely insurance claim settlements and customer service.

The programme was presided over by General Manager Md Shakil Mahmud.

The cheque distribution was part of Popular Life Insurance's ongoing special programme aimed at ensuring faster payment of insurance claims to policyholders.
