BIWTC and BMU sign MoU to strengthen Maritime Cooperation

Following the in-principle approval of the Ministry of Shipping, Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) and Bangladesh Maritime University (BMU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 14 October 2026 to expand academic and professional collaboration.

A high-level delegation led by Commodore Md. Benjir Mahmud (E), NPP, ndc, psc, BN, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at BMU, attended the signing ceremony along with A. T. M. Abdul Bari Danny, Chairman of BIWTC and other senior officials of the corporation.

Both parties expressed optimism that this collaboration would be beneficial for BMU students and BIWTC.
