Yash’s fierce portrayal of Ravana clashes with Ranbir Kapoor’s composed portrayal of Rama in the newly released second English-dubbed trailer of 'Ramayana: Rise of a Legend', offering a glimpse of the epic battle between good and evil ahead of the film’s worldwide release on November 5.
The trailer introduces Ravana as a powerful ruler who seeks to bend even the gods to his will, with Yash delivering an intense screen presence. Ranbir’s Rama, meanwhile, is portrayed as a man who stands as humanity’s hope against the rising threat of evil.
The footage also features Kunal Kapoor as Indra, the king of the gods, and shows Ravana confronting him in a dramatic sequence. Glimpses of the Pushpaka Vimana, the mythical flying chariot, and Jatayu, the heroic bird who fights Ravana, add to the film’s visual spectacle.
Beyond the clash between the two central characters, the trailer offers a glimpse of the bond between Rama and Sita, played by Sai Pallavi, blending emotional elements with elaborate sets and visual effects.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film also stars Sunny Deol as Hanuman and Ravie Dubey as Lakshman. The makers have announced a worldwide theatrical release on November 5, with screenings planned for IMAX and other premium large-format cinemas.
