Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has called on students to take responsibility for keeping the country clean and green, stressing that nation-building requires collective efforts.
He made the call while visiting his former institution, Dhaka Residential Model College in Mohammadpur, on Saturday afternoon.
The prime minister said the united efforts of young people could bring significant change, as demonstrated by the 2024 mass uprising.
Expressing concern over air pollution in Dhaka, he urged students to plant more trees.
“You are the future of tomorrow. I have two requests for you"keep the country clean and plant more trees. This is your country, and its responsibility also rests with you,” he told the students.
