103 live cocktails recovered in Rajshahi

A total of 103 live homemade cocktails were recovered from an abandoned cement sack in a litchi orchard in Rajshahi city early Wednesday, according to the Special Response Battalion (SRB)-5.

Of the recovered devices, 64 were wrapped in red adhesive tape and 39 in black tape.

The explosives were seized and documented in the presence of witnesses before being handed over to the relevant police station through a general diary (GD) for further legal action.

The press release did not specify who had placed the explosives in the orchard, why they had been stored there or whether anyone had been identified or arrested in connection with the incident.
