A street installation depicting US President Donald Trump behind bars has gone viral after appearing at Tajrish Square in Tehran, Iran, featuring an actor wearing a mask resembling Trump inside a mock prison cell on Wednesday (October 21).
The billboard-style installation shows the actor, dressed in a dark suit and red tie, walking inside the artificial jail cell suspended above the street. Passers-by stopped to watch the scene, take photographs and record videos, with footage of the display spreading on social media.
The installation carries the slogan, “It is a crime not to see this scene,” alongside messages accusing Washington of war crimes and criticising US military actions against Iran.
Tehran's municipal authorities are behind the campaign, which reflects Iran's opposition to US military operations and its demand for accountability. The display is symbolic and does not represent Trump's actual arrest or imprisonment
