12 more die of measles, dengue

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has reported that 12 more people died of measles symptoms and dengue across the country in the 24 hours from 8am Saturday to 8am Sunday.

During the same period, 1,356 people were newly diagnosed with suspected or confirmed measles. In addition, 2,249 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country.

According to the DGHS measles-related release on Sunday, five were died with measles symptoms in the past 24 hours. From March 15 to October 25, a total of 1,227 people have died with measles and it like symptoms.
