Three deputy secretaries placed on OSD

Three deputy secretaries serving in the administration have been placed on Officer on Special Duty (OSD), according to separate notifications issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Wednesday.

The notifications were issued on October 28 by the ministry's Senior Appointment-2 section.

The officials placed on OSD are Md Toffazzal Hossain, zonal settlement officer at the Directorate of Land Records and Surveys in Jamalpur; Rakibur Rahman Khan, director of the Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority in Dhaka; and Nahida Barik, secretary of the Bangladesh Forest Industries Development Corporation. All three hold the rank of deputy secretary.

The notifications, signed by Deputy Secretary Jeti Pru, stated that the officials had been transferred and posted to the positions mentioned against their names.

The orders, issued in the public interest, came into immediate effect.
