125th prize bond draw on Sunday, first prize Tk 6 lakh

The 125th draw of the Bangladesh Prize Bond, with a face value of Tk 100, will be held on Sunday (November 1). The first-prize winner will receive Tk 600,000, while the second prize is Tk 325,000, the third Tk 100,000, the fourth Tk 50,000 and the fifth Tk 10,000.

The government introduced Bangladesh Prize Bonds to encourage savings among the general public. One of their key advantages is that they can be purchased and encashed at any time. Bondholders whose numbers are selected in a scheduled draw are entitled to the corresponding prize money.

For each winning number announced in a draw, prize money is awarded to bonds bearing the same number across all series.
Prize bonds purchased within the 60 days preceding the scheduled draw date are eligible for the draw. In calculating this period, the date of purchase is included, while the draw date is excluded.
