The results of this year's Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations will be published today, Saturday.
Education Minister ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon will announce the results at 11:00am. Students will be able to access their results through their educational institutions, online and via SMS.
The results will be available on the websites of the education boards, as well as at educationboardresults.gov.bd and eduresult.gov.bd.
Educational institutions can download their results by visiting the result section of the website and entering their respective education board and institution's EIIN number.
Students can also obtain their results by sending an SMS from any mobile phone. To do so, they need to type HSC, followed by a space, the first three letters of their education board's name, another space, their roll number, and the examination year.
The SMS should then be sent to 16140. For example, a student under the Dhaka Board can type: HSC DHA 123456 2026 and send it to 16140.
Applications for re-scrutiny and re-evaluation of answer scripts will be accepted online from November 1 to 7. Details of the application process and relevant instructions will be available on the respective education boards' websites.
The 2026 HSC and equivalent examinations began on July 2. However, examinations postponed by the Chattogram Education Board due to natural disasters were rescheduled, extending the examination period until September 9.
A total of 1,270,583 regular and irregular candidates appeared in this year's examinations under nine general education boards, the Madrasah Education Board and the Technical Education Board.
