BCIC chairman Md Babul Mia promoted to secretary

Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC) Chairman Md Babul Mia, who previously served as an additional secretary, has been promoted to the rank of secretary by the government.

Following his promotion, he has been retained as the chairman of BCIC.

Md Babul Mia joined the 15th Bangladesh Civil Service (Administration) cadre on November 15, 1995. During his career, he served in various field administration positions, including Assistant Commissioner and Magistrate, Assistant Commissioner (Land), Upazila Nirbahi Officer and Additional Deputy Commissioner in different districts.

He also held several important positions in the central administration, serving in various ministries, including the Ministry of Public Administration, Ministry of Liberation War Affairs and Ministry of Planning.
