Dhaka 4th among world's most polluted cities

Dhaka ranked fourth among the world's most polluted cities on Thursday morning, with an Air Quality Index (AQI) score of 170, indicating unhealthy air.

According to Swiss-based air quality monitoring platform IQAir, the reading was recorded at 8:30 AM on November 5.

Pakistan's Lahore topped the list with an AQI score of 322, followed by New Delhi at 274 and Kolkata at 196.

According to IQAir, an AQI score of 151-200 is considered unhealthy, while 201-300 is very unhealthy and above 300 is hazardous.
