All 29 students from one Koyra institution failed

KOYRA, KHULNA, Nov 5: All 29 students appearing at this year’s HSC examinations from Shakbaria School and College in Koyra Upazila of the district have failed. 

According to the data from the Upazila Secondary Education Office, students from 17 educational institutions in Koyra participated in this year’s HSC examinations. 

Meanwhile, at Gazi Abdul Jabbar School and College, only one out of 20 examinees passed. 

This has caused significant disappointment and concern among students, guardians, and the local community. The fact that every student from the institution failed has raised questions regarding the quality of instruction, the educational environment, and the overall academic operations of the institution. 

Attempts to reach the Principal of Koyra Shakbaria School and College Abu Bakkar Siddique to inquire about the reasons for this disastrous result were unsuccessful as his mobile phone was switched off. 

Acting Upazila Secondary Education Officer Ruksana Parveen said that it is deeply regrettable that none of the 29 students from Shakbaria School and College passed the examination. 

She added that the reasons behind such a result must be investigated, and that factors such as the quality of teaching, student attendance, classroom activities, and exam preparation will be reviewed.
