The internationally recognized government forces of Yemen claimed to have "neutralized" 440 Houthi fighters during an ongoing military campaign against the armed group.
Military authorities also stated that 132 military vehicles, armored units, and heavy weapons belonging to the Houthis were destroyed or rendered non-operational, according to state news agency Saba.
Armored forces spokesman Colonel Majed Abdullah al-Najili reported that troops conducted nearly 1,300 strikes so far under the ongoing "Operation Dawn of Yemen." He noted that the operation inflicted significant damage on the group, weakening its military capabilities.
Government forces launched the military drive on 5 October to reclaim the capital, Sanaa, and other regions currently under Houthi control.
