Bangladeshi-origin brothers Cavan and Quinn Sullivan made MLS history by scoring for the same club in a 4-1 victory over Toronto FC, becoming the third pair of brothers to achieve the feat in the league.
Cavan scored twice, while Quinn netted a penalty and provided an assist as Philadelphia Union secured the win in their final regular-season match early Sunday (November 8).
The brothers joined Gonzalo and Federico Higuain and Diego and Yimmi Chara on the list of siblings to score for the same MLS club in a single match.
Cavan, 17, also extended his record for the most goal contributions by a teenager in a single MLS regular season, taking his tally to 23, with nine goals and 14 assists. Diego Fagundez previously held the record with 20 contributions in 2013.
Josh Sargent scored for Toronto, while Bruno Damiani converted a penalty to complete Philadelphia's 4-1 victory.
Philadelphia finished sixth in the Eastern Conference with 50 points and will face third-seeded New England Revolution in the first round of the playoffs.
