Arsenal strengthened their grip on the Premier League summit with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Hull City at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
Captain Martin Odegaard scored the decisive goal in the 72nd minute, converting a rebound after goalkeeper Konstantinos Tzolakis parried Noni Madueke’s effort.
Hull frustrated the hosts with a disciplined defensive display for much of the match, but Arsenal eventually found the breakthrough to secure all three points.
The victory lifted Arsenal to 27 points from 10 matches, moving them six points clear of second-placed Manchester City, who have a game in hand.
The Gunners also matched their best-ever start to a Premier League season, maintaining their momentum in the title race.
