The whereabouts of Aniruddha Kumar Roy, Managing Director of RMM Group, Syed Sadat Ahmed Sadat, MD of ABN Group and MM Aminur Rahman, Secretary General of Bangladesh Kalyan Party, are still unknown.
Aniruddha, also the Honorary Consul General of Belarus, has been missing from Gulshan in Dhaka since August 27.  Five days before Aniruddha went missing Syed Sadat Ahmed was reportedly abducted from Banani in  Dhaka. On the same day Aniruddha went missing, Aminur Rahman, also a BNP-led 20-party alliance leader, was kidnapped.
Investigators suspected that all the three incidents are inter-connected, as all of them were picked up in a similar way.
Abu Bakkar Siddique Officer-in-Charge Gulshan Police Station said, "Some men identifying themselves as law enforcers kidnapped Aniruddha from in front of Union Bank's Gulshan branch." There was no trace of Aniruddha since then. His nephew Kollol Hazra filed a general dairy with Gulshan police.
According to the GD, three people posing themselves as members of Detective Branch (DB) of police picked up Aniruddha, who was accompanied by his car driver at that time, but the latter was released later on.
ABN Group MD Syed Sadat Ahmed has been abducted from Banani in Dhaka on August 22, his family members say. He was forced out of his car into a microbus under the Banani overpass according to his father Col (Retd) Syed Sahabuddin Ahmed.
Md Mahbubur Rahman, OC of Banani Police Station, said, "His relatives came to the police station. We are trying to trace him."
Sadat Ahmed was driving his car with his son Mehedi Zaman and a caretaker, his father said. "A microbus blocked their way under Banani overpass at 3:00pm. "Some people got out of the microbus and forced Sadat inside their vehicle," his father said.
One of the leaders of the 20-party alliance and Secretary General of Bangladesh Kalyan Party MM Aminur Rahman has reportedly been missing since Sunday night (August 27).
As per the statement, Aminur Rahman was missing from August 27, as he left Nayapaltan at around 10:00 pm for his home close to Rural Electrification Office at Aminbazar in Savar. Family members, party and political colleagues are very anxious as even his cell phone has been switched off. His family will file a GD in this regard.
Maj Gen (Retd) Syed Muhammad Ibrahim Bir Pratik Chairman of Bangladesh Kalyan Party urged the government to find out MM Aminur Rahman immediately.
Meanwhile, Rokonuzzaman Rokon, Mayor of Sarishabari municipality in Jamalpur who reportedly went missing from the capital on September 25, was rescued from a tea estate in Kalighat area of Srimangal upazila on September 27.
IFIC Bank official Shamim Ahmed, who was allegedly abducted five days ago in Dhaka, returned home safe, police have said citing his wife Shilpi Ahmed.
Shipli had filed a GD with Paltan Police Station saying Shamim was picked up in front of Khana Basmati Restaurant in Purana Paltan on August 23 and driven away by microbus. His mobile phone had since been switched off.
